Default Why are there so many BUGS in GW!

I don't mean programing ones.

There are Devourers everywhere! Scarabs too. Spiders aren't that bad, just geez.

Insect wars is more like it.

strictly speaking, scorpions are NOT insects and spiders are NOT insects.

so, in fact, there are TOO MANY ARACHNIDS in the game. someone at anet has a thing for arachnids, or something...

yeah -- that was one of the things that anet really should consider...

i mean, just how many different varieties of twin-tail scorpions should you fight? the least they could do is vary the size a little bit... maybe the scorpions should be about 25% the size of your characters in the beginning and gradually get bigger...

still, too damn many ARACHNIDS...

Maybe they could add some REAL insects in chapter 2 -- say giant beetles, army ants, poisonous wasps...

what this game really needs is.
GIANT MONKEYS...
who will seem tough, but then someone will discover some uber leet [1337] build to pwn them solo. they will drop elite stuff, anet will nerf it... next

what this game needs is more ghosts and more human-modeled AI enemies to face off against.

i'm tired of slogging through mobs and mobs of the same White Mantle for a couple hours. seriously, that's the only human enemies i see at all in the game.

and some more Unworthy Spirits would be nice to face off against. they're actually fun, and require more strategy than a Burning Titan.

Hehe. Well, if ya want to get all technical about it, the term "bug" does not necessarily refer to 6-legged insectoids exclusively. It is more of a slang term and could certainly include other creepy-crawlies like insect larva, arachnids, some annelids, and even various microbes (I caught a 'bug').

But yeah, lots of bugs. How many legs do the scarabs have?

There are more bugs than humans on this planet. Why wouldn't there be lots of bugs?
